About me

Glean was founded in 2018 with the idea of creating something valuable out of by-products in the foodstream. Aquafaba is something I discovered in my vegan journey back in 2014. I started a food blog and became quickly amazed and had to explore this wasted ressources. Glean is a result of my huge passion for veganism and untraditional food bi-products and of course baking and cooking! 

What is aquafaba? 

Aquafaba is a by-product from cooking chickpeas. It’s a truly magical food ingredient – it acts and function as a plant based egg-replacer do to specific properties. We upcycle aquafaba into amazing confections and snacks. 

Mission

My mission is to make aquafaba the preferable plant based egg in cooking and baking. Let’s change perception!
